Daniel J. Olson
Director, Commercial Development
Mr. Olson joined the Ash Access team in November,
2005 as the Director, Commercial Development. He will be focusing
on the creation and development of brand strategy / execution for
the Ash Access Product portfolio as well as working with distribution
partners for successful commercialization. Mr. Olson has nearly 15
years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
He spent over 10 years with both Janssen Pharmaceutica (A Johnson & Johnson Company) and Merck & Company in a variety of sales, sales management
and training leadership positions. He has been recognized throughout
his career for his successful sales and management results as well
as being a multiple recipient of distinguished leadership awards.
Prior to coming to Ash Access Technology, Mr. Olson was employed
at Bone Care International, a nephrology specialty pharmaceutical
company with a focus on vitamin D therapies for CKD / ESRD patients.
At Bone Care, Mr. Olson was instrumental in the creation, development
and execution of the marketing strategy for the company’s flagship
product, Hectorol. He later became the Director of Training, where
he led the efforts of training both the BCI and Genzyme sales teams
during the multiple sales force expansions and acquisition. Mr. Olson
earned a BS in Marketing and Management from the University of Wisconsin.
